John Truxal

Obituary for John Wayne Truxal Belden - John Wayne Truxal, 60, died Saturday, January 21, 2012, at his residence. He was born in Terra Haute, Indiana on August 17, 1951 to Herbert Raymond and Florence Ethel McBride Truxal. At the age of seventeen, he joined the United States Airforce and was stationed in many different areas of the United States and abroad including England, Japan, Turkey, Pakistan, Thailand and Germany. He retired as Staff Sergeant from CAFB after a long and distinguished career. He was a member of Chesterville Calvary Baptist Church in Belden. He loved his Church, hunting and was a member of the Wellness Center. Services with Military Honors will be 1 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Wesley Stephens officiating. Survivors include four daughters, Kelly Truxal Bledsoe (Fiancee, Adam Thompson) of Columbus, Theresa Rainey of Tupelo, Jeannette Palmer of Saltillo and Toni Horton (Shone) of Booneville; one son, Troy Truxal of Terre Haute, Indianna; nine grandchildren, Laurna McBride, Peighton Bledsoe, Bailey Truxal, Sam Truxal, Coty Nance, Patricia Hope, Kimberly Hope, Allison Rainey and Shelby Pearson; three sisters; and two brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers and sisters. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
