JOHN VAN HUMPHREY, III
Unity Community - John Van Humphrey, III, 29, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born February 19, 1988, to John Van Humphrey, Jr. and Joyce Ann King Humphrey. John was a truck driver for Century Construction for the last few years. He loved his children and family. John enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing and working in the shop with his father.
Survivors include mother, Joyce Escobedo (Joel) of Saltillo; father, John Van Humphrey, Jr. (Jennifer McMillen) of Mantachie; children, Anneliese Grace Murphree, Jaxxon Gauge Humphrey, John Easton Humphrey and Hayzelynne Izabella Humphrey all of Saltillo; step-children, Landon and Rilley Baird of Saltillo and their mother, Emily Fowler Baird of Saltillo; his oldest daughter, Rachel Humphrey of Plantersville; sister, Samantha Sheffield and Jessica McMillen both of Mantachie; brothers, Isaac Escobedo of Saltillo, Matt McMillen of Mantachie, Justin Humphrey of North Carolina, Christopher Posey of Tenn. and Blake and Jake Wiggington of Mantachie.
Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2017, at W. E. Pegues, Saltillo.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Rickey Pierce officiating. Graveside services will follow in Saltillo Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brian Dunaway, Michael Bruce, Alan Sheffield, Chris Jefferys, Dustin Barnett, Gary Montgomery, Joey Coggins and Justin Humphrey.
The service will be live streamed and recorded for those who may not be able to attend at www.peguesfuneralhome.com .
