Jamie Lucille Lynn Smith, 22, passed away suddenly Tuesday, June 20, 2017. She was born in Springfield, Illinois on April 24, 1995, to Glenn Allen and Jeanette Basile Smith. She moved to Tupelo a few months ago and was working at O'Charley's as a waitress. Jamie loved the outdoors, especially hiking. She was very loved and will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
Survivors include her mother, Jeanette Smith of Tupelo; father, Glenn Allen Smith of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; siblings, Jerry Smith of Gravel Ridge, Arkansas and Christina Smith, Jacob Smith and Jessica Smith of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; grandparents, Lucille Campbell of Conway, Arkansas, Floyd Smith of Red Field, Arkansas and Linda Wilson of Rosco, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Daniel Carlos Basile.
Services will be held at a later date in Smyrna, Tennessee.
