James Ray Cryder
Tupelo - James Ray Cryder, 66, life-long resident of Tupelo, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at Baldwyn Nursing Home. He was born February 28, 1950, to Cozette and Erma Miller Cryder. He was a carpenter by trade. He was an avid collector, especially anything eagle related. James Ray loved his dog, Gimp and he was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his daughter, Cathy Cryder (Tommy) of Tupelo; grandchildren, Cayla Marie Cryder, Christan Holman and Caidyn Cozette Cryder all of Tupelo.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2016, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2016, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues. Burial will be in Priceville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Scott Cryder, Greg Cryder, Carey Cryder, and David Haas.
Honorary pallbearer will be Tom Smith and Caidyn Cryder.
