JIMMY DALE "SLIM" MILLER
Tupelo - Jimmy Dale Miller, 62, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born in Itawamba County on January 2, 1955, to Claudie and Alcie Bell Oswalt Miller. Most of his working life, Jimmy was in wood working. He was married to Shirley Marie Miller until her passing in 2007. Jimmy loved the outdoors.
Survivors include his children, Sherry Jennings of Mooreville, Dale Miller (Leslie) of Mooreville and Elizabeth Miller of Saltillo; 11 grandchildren; sister, Larue Gifford of Fulton and special friends, George and Pat Bobo, Melissa Pounds, and Randy Kingsley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2017, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Services will be 4 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Pastors Ben Brown, Sharon Brown and Ike Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Sandy Springs Cemetery.
