Imogene Kirkpatrick

IMOGENE KIRKPATRICK   Saltillo - Helen Imogene Kirkpatrick, 96, born July 17, 1919, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 20, 2016. Gene worked in supervisory capacity for several textile plants. She was a lifelong member of Saltillo Presbyterian Church. Gene loved the outdoors and kept large vegetable gardens each year and always shared the fruits of her labor with friends and neighbors. Services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, January 23, 2016, at W. E. Pegues, Saltillo with Dr. Charles Holland officiating. Burial will be in Saltillo Cemetery.   Gene was preceded in death by parents, Alex and Dollie Wade Kirkpatrick; brother, Charles Kirkpatrick; sister, Frankie Kirkpatrick; nephew, James LeFaivre Sullivan.   Survivors include her twin sister, Earlene Kirkpatrick Sullivan of Houston, Texas; two nieces, Katherine Sullivan Carte of Houston, Texas and Jacqualine Sullivan Hardwick of Friendswood, Texas.   Visitation will be 9 - 10 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016, at W.
