Obituary for Idell Butler Tupelo - Mildred Idell Goodwin Butler, 86, died Monday, September 5, 2011, at The North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born May 5, 1925 to Harley and Ruth Fulton Goodman. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2011 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Bro. David Hendrix and Bro. O.D. Hester officiating. Burial will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery. Survivors include six children, Bill Goodwin (Sandy) of Ocoee, Fl, Roger Dale Goodwin (Brenda) of Columbia, TN, Jerry R. Goodwin (Betty) of Mooreville, Richard Goodwin (fiancee, Linda Hester) of Tupelo, George Barry Goodwin (Sandra) of Calhoun, GA and Mildred Elaine Goodwin Driskell of Guntown; 27 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; her daughter, Mary Paulette Tidwell in 1972, one brother and four sisters. Pallbearers will be James Arnold, Ryan Driskell, Thomas Young, Donovan Smith, Jerry Allen and Johnny Payne. Visitation will be 4- 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the funeral home.
