Mooreville - Henry F. Arnold, 79, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born November 13, 1936, to Ruffus and Edna Box Arnold. Henry served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a truck driver for numerous companies. Henry married Mary Bishop Hamm on October 4, 1974. He loved being outside, camping and fishing. Henry was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Arnold of Mooreville; children, Steve Arnold of Booneville, J.R. Hamm of Auburn Community, Linda Alred (Mike) of Mooreville, Deborah Stults of Mooreville, Judy Wood (Bobby) of Dorsey, Elizabeth Hamblin of Auburn Community and Bryan Arnold (Amanda) of Mooreville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special niece, Becky Smith of Mooreville and a special caregiver Sandra White of Fulton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Kelly Hamm; two grandchildren, Matthew Hamm and Garrett Arnold; sister, Jane McMillen and brother Billy Hyde.
Visitation will be from 3 until 8 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2016, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, September 4, 2016, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Reggie Miller officiating. A graveside service with military honors will follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Wood, Mike Alred, Josh Gibbons, Ricky Burleson, Lyle Bishop and Johnny Putt.
