Guy "Andy" Spees
Tupelo - Guy Anderson Spees, 54, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016. He was born February 23, 1962, to Guy Trevlin Spees and Shirley Jean Smith Bryson. His working life was spent in construction and on a shrimp boat in Louisiana. Andy liked to fish, draw and paint in his spare time. He attended Living Waters Church.
Survivors include his mother, Shirley Bryson of Sulligent, Alabama; sisters, Vickie Spees of the Auburn Community and Amy Spees Tate (Jonathan) of Detroit, Alabama; brother, Keith Bryson; nephew, Leif Lann of Detriot, Alabama and his beloved dog, Polly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Guy Spees, Jr. and step-father, Bobby Bryson; grandparents, Anderson and Avis Smith and Guy and Lula Spees.
Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2016, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2016, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. John Gale officiating. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Roger Smith, James Filgo, Burmer Hood, Jonathan Tate, Leif Lann and Gary Reeder.
Honorary pallbearers will be Walter Robinson, Rick Morgan and Billy Davis.
