Gary Nolen

Baldwyn--Gary M. Nolen, age 74, passed away June 23, 2022, at home with family and loved ones. He was a proud retired Ironworker of Local #167 of Memphis, and a Navy Veteran. We will be reminded of him always by all the endeavors he had a hand in throughout and around our city of Memphis. Like the New Bridge, the Pyramid, and TVA; there are so many places he helped build here alongside his local # 167 brothers. They leave their imprint on our city and our hearts. He will be missed.
He was preceded by his parents in death, E.L. Nolen JR. and Vivian S. K. Nolen; and his grandson, and Navy Hospitalman, Kyle A. Nolen.
He is survived by his wife; Theresa J. Nolen; children, Lisa M. Lovell and Micheal A. Nolen; three brothers, Clay Nolen of OR., Kirk Nolen and Kent Nolen of Memphis; sister-in-law, Joan Nolen; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
At his request, no formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital, a charity that was close to his heart, in his honor.
