Tupelo- George Gaylord Moore, 61, died Thursday September 12, 2019 at North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. He was born July 1, 1958 in Itawamba County, Mississippi to Jimmy Clay Moore and Gary Pennington Moore. During his working life he worked on an off shore oil rig and as a carpenter. G. G. loved music and playing his guitar.
He is survived by his mother, Gary P. Moore of Tupelo.
G. G. was preceded by his father, Jimmy Moore and his brother, Marty Moore.
Services for G. G. will be held 10 a.m. Sunday September 15, 2019 at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo. Burial will be in Bourland Cemetery, Itawamba.
