FRANCES PEARSON
Saltillo - Frances Pearson, 76, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017, at her home in Leoma, Tennessee. She was born July 10, 1941, to Luther L. and Zettie "Pet" Henry Cox. Frances was a longtime resident of Saltillo until moving to Leoma, Tennessee to be closer to her family. She was married to Billy Pearson for 49 years until his passing in 2015. Frances loved her cats, watching westerns and spending time outdoors camping and at the beach. She was a member of Barnes Crossing Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Christina Smith (Chuck) of Leoma, Tennessee; two granddaughters, Cassie Stewart (Justin) of Thaxton and Adriane Smith of Saltillo; brother, Freddie Cox (June) of Saltillo; sister-in-law, Ann Cox of Saltillo and numerous neices, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Marvin and R. L. Cox.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017, at W. E. Pegues, Saltillo.
Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday, September 3, 2017, at the Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Robert Winters officiating. Graveside services will follow at 4 p.m. in Liberty Cemetery, Bethel Springs, Tennessee.
