Tupelo - Fay Daniels, 63, surrounded by her family, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born November 7, 1954, to Marshall and Lucille Randall Baskins. She spent most of her youth between Florence, Alabama and Tupelo. On March 19, 1971, she married Warren Daniels. After 41 years of marriage, Fay was still a one of a kind homemaker, prior to her illness, and spent as much time as possible with her grandchildren. She was an avid gardener, thoroughly enjoyed tending to her flowerbeds and creating beautiful arrangements. She also loved to decorate and was quite intrigued by antiques. Fay was a member of Cross Pointe Ministries.
Survivors include husband, Joseph Daniels; daughter, Kelly Hutcheson (Chris) of Tupelo; sisters, Charlotte Steffans (Gerry) of Tupelo and Pat Woods of Rogersville, Alabama; grandchildren, Daniel, Lucy Kate, and Logan Hutcheson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, David Baskins, Eugene Baskins and sisters, Carolyn Rhodes and Renee Nichols.
Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until service time Thursday, December 14, 2017, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Services will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday, December 14, 2017, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Ed Vitagliano officiating. Burial will follow in Priceville Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Baskins, Brad Baskins, Wayne Woods, and Tony Vitagliano.
