EARL GLENN “TATER” THOMPSON, JR.
Saltillo – Earl Glenn Thompson, Jr., 59, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017 at his home. He was born August 18, 1958 to Earl Glenn and Evalyn Long Thompson. Earl was a truck driver for many years until being disabled. He enjoyed working with computers and building them, to which he passed on to his daughter, whom he dearly loved. Earl loved to fish and his dog, Bubba Gump.
Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues with visitation from 1:30 until 2:20 p.m. Sunday. Minister Adam Miller will be officiating the services.
Survivors include his daughter, Samantha Carrye Thompson of Nashville, Tennessee; sister, Carol Price of Saltillo; nieces, Kendra Brown (Alan) of Nashville, Tennessee, Maria Hutcheson (Thomas) of Blue Springs; nephew, John Price of Saltillo and great-nephew, Tyler Hutcheson of Fort Benning, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judy Cochran.
