Mooreville - Debbi Holt Fooshee, 60, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017, at her home. She was born September 14, 1956, to Ronald and Virgina Holt in San Antonio, Texas. Her father was in the United States Air Force and stationed in Berlin, Germany where she was raised. Later moving to Mooreville, she went to Northeast Community College receiving her Associate's degree as a licensed practical nurse. After receiving her degree, she worked 35 years at Tupelo Manor/ Beverly Health Care/ Golden Living Center. Debbi enjoyed being a director of education, and loved going to the beach on her vacations; especially to Destin and Fort Walton, Florida.
Survivors include her daughters, Lori Johnson (Gene), Sunni Knight (Cody), and Summer Bishop (Dylan) all of Mooreville; brother, Ronnie Holt (Aileen) of Mooreville; sister-in-law, Beverly Holt of Tippah County; grandchildren, Samantha Hood (Blake), Tiffany Johnson, Travis Johnson, Carson Gaines, Gatlin Knight, Brody Gaines, Cade Knight, and Piper Bishop.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Jerry Holt.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
