Belden - Christopher Michael Hester, 34, went fishin’ with Jesus Sunday, June 18, 2017. He was born December 15, 1982, to Mike and Vickey McKnatt Hester in Dallas, Texas. Chris owned and operated Hester’s Cleaning Services. He loved baseball and coaching his son’s little league team and listening to country music. Chris was a loving and caring person who regularly gave blood, an organ donor and also volunteered his time for those in need. Chris loved animals, spending time with his children and girlfriend, Beth. He attended Bissell Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Mike and Vickey Hester; son, Conner Hester; daughter, Taylor Hester; girlfriend, Beth Smith; two sisters, Nikki Hester and Monica Carter; two uncles, Rod Marsinelli (Sarah) and Eddie McKnattt (Tash); aunt, Rhonda Hopper (Michael); three great aunts, Leona Raburn, Janet McCarver and Jackie Davis, cousin, Gale Eats .
He was preceded in death by his brother, Chad Dauzat, two grandmothers, Helen Grubbs and Charlene McKnatt.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at the Jefferson Street Chapel with Bro. David Hamilton and Bro. Terry Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bear Osborn, Sonny Sirasombath, Steven Raburn, Daniel Loague, Brooks Major, Jake Smith, Jeremy K. Letson and Jimmy Bruce.
Honorary pallbearers will be Russell Young, Jeremy Stephens, Vic Bonner, Brian Miles, Chad Dauzat and Jeremy Hopper.
