BRIAN DAVID TINNEY
Batesville - Brian David Tinney, 48, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017, at Sanctuary Hospice House after a sudden illness. He was born September 8, 1969, to Thomas Gayle and Patricia Ann Bell Tinney. In 1989, he graduated from South Brunswick in Southport, North Carolina. He graduated from Catawba College in North Carolina with an Agricultural degree in Botany and Turf Management. Brian worked as the superintendent of turf management at numerous golf courses and was a member of the GCSAA. He spent most of his time golfing, enjoyed tinkering with motorcycles and fishing. He loved animals and always had multiple dogs.
Survivors include his parents, Tom and Pat Tinney of Vicksburg; daughter, Sierra Breckenridge (fiancé, Drake Jefferson) of Richmond, Texas; granddaughter, Dallas Jefferson; brother, John Tinney (Tessie) of Hernando; sister, Heather Reeves (Wes) of Huntsville, Alabama; aunts and uncle, Bob and JoAnn Bell of Riverside, California and Bonny Tinney of Sewickley, Pennsylvania.
