BONNIE DILLARD
Tupelo - Bonnie Christine Dillard, 89, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017, at the Greenhouses of Traceway. She was born in the Bethel Community on October 10, 1927, to Willie and Annie Mae McCord. She married Morris Dillard on May 9, 1947 and they were married until his passing on November 21, 1995. Bonnie retired January of 1991 as an accountant for Allied Enterprises Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. She was a past Worthy Matron of Tupelo Chapter #83 Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Tupelo.
Survivors include her sons, Dr. Steve Dillard (Shirley) of Hurricane, West Virginia and Tim Dillard of Maryville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Stacy Dillard Davis (Shane), Blythe Dillard, Joseph Dillard, Dustin Dillard (Carrie), Joshua Dillard and Shelby Dillard; six great-grandchildren; sister, Hazel Condon of Bartlett, Tennessee and special cousin, Lacey Potter of Endville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Mike Dillard; grandson, Britt Dillard; sisters, Lucille Faulkner, Annie Grace Bryant, Mamie Sue Ross and Mary Frances Patterson and brother, Robert McCord.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Ricky Young officiating. Graveside Services will follow in Tupelo Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 300 N Church St, Tupelo, MS 38804.
