BOBBIE GALE POUNDS
Tupelo - Bobbie Gale Pounds, 47, went to her heavenly home Thursday, October 27, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born March 23, 1969, to Winona Hicks. She was a woman of many trades throughout her working life. Bobbie loved her Lord and loved to attend church while her health aloud her. She was a very caring, giving and unselfish woman. Bobbie was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. She loved her grandchildren and the time she spent with them.
Survivors include husband, Robert Pounds; children, Brittaney Graham (Jay), Chris Graham (Shonda), Shawanna Cannon (Tony) all of Tupelo; grandchildren, A'shiyah, Zykeria, Kayla, Jamie, Jayleigh and Kameron and a host of other close friends she treated as her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, son, Jamie Gilbert and brother, Rickey Graham.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2016, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday. Pastor Rickey Agnew will be officiating the service and burial will be in Verona City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chris Graham, Rickey Haywood, Bryant Heard, Timothy Strebeck, Leonard Dixon and Alex Coleman.
