ALICE LYLE
Tupelo - Alice Lyle, 92, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born April 5, 1923, to John and Navada Webb. She retired from Daybrite, but continued to work at Legends until the age of 83. Alice enjoyed traveling, quilting, fishing and loved gospel music. She was a member of Oak Ridge Christian Church.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, February 18, 2016, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Minister Dale Carr officiating. Graveside services will follow in Crossroads Cemetery.
Survivors include daughter, Dorothy Lyle; sons, Anthony Lyle (Kaye) and Paul Lyle (Lynn); grandchildren, Kathy Hallmark (Tim), Barry Lyle (Rachel), Webb Lyle (Paige) and Sarah Presley (Joey); eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and sister, Charlie Ruth Hallmark (Carester).
She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Preston Paul Lyle; daughter, Mary Sue Hubbard; brother, B. W. Webb and Earnest Webb; sisters, Mildred Smith and Clara Mae Terry and one great-grandson.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Lyle, Bryan Hallmark, Buddy Loyd, Fred, Austin and John Webb.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
